Photographs were taken with a Canon A2E camera equipped with an ND4 filter. It was a bit of a risk since I had never used it before, but hopefully you'll agree with me that the results came out pretty well even though the sunlight was very intense
Feedback's always welcome!
There won't be any more additions to this collection, but I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I do! I'm really greateful for the feedback you guys have given me
None of this would have been possible without my friend's Canon, so cheers Bas for lending it to me
Hopefully next time I go to Ethiopia I'll get a chance to visit one of the neighboring countries and see some proper wildlife action! After what I saw on this trip, the Discovery Channel just ain't enough anymore. This stuff is so much more intersting in real life!
Peace,
Niko
PS. If you're seeking the truth or simply want to make sense of the world, this might be a good place to start news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes… If you get a chance to see this BBC documentary please let me know! Respect to the BBC!!
Still hibernating :)
Will be back some day, I promise!
Ten thousand deviations later...
I'm still amazed at how much creativity there is here on DeviantART. I just went through 10,000 deviations on my watch-list and although it took me forever to go through them, I'm glad I did! It gave me the spark I've been waiting for.
Looking at my latest submission (October 11, 2007), I realise I've been 'away' for almost two years. I haven't stopped taking photos since, but for some reason they have all ended up gathering dust on my hard drive. I've been lacking motivation to go through them let alone publish any of them on the net. Tagging them is probably the most time consuming thing I can think of, but in small dozes it should be doab

Quick recap of what's going on:
* I'm still working on my fourth African Exposure series which I'm looking forward to sharing with you sometime next month.
* The new version of Home Studio was quietly brought out of its final development stage and is now open @ http://phoenix.plastiqueweb.com/
* I upgraded my Flickr account again and will be uploading pictures from Lapland in the coming weeks: http://www.flickr.com/photos/23178550@N08/
Look forward sharing some new material with you soon!

Xmas in Africa vol 2.
I once again fled the cold winter of Finland to the nice sunny continent of Africa. I can't tell you how good of an idea that was. From now on I think i'll make this a tradition.
It'll take me some time for me to go through all the pictures I took, but I can already tell you that this will probably have as many as the previous three combined. Gotta love the digital age :D
In the meantime, I've also uploaded lots of material to my flickr account and look forward releasing more stuff from 2006-2008. These are all released under a creative commons license, so feel free to use them!
Hope you all had a great new year.
